On the Autumn note we find the portraits of powerful shipping magnate, Angus Kilbourne and his wife, Catherine. A colony on the far-flung continent of Antarctica could have been possible without the backing
of serious financial investment. Kilbourne's shipping company not only backed the Colony financially,
but also built a fleet of ships for the sole purpose of constructing, populating, and supplying the Colony.
The reverse pictures the Seven Seas of ancient lore: the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea,
Indian Ocean, China Sea, The East African Ocean, and the West African Ocean.
