On the Autumn note, we see the death mask of Tuk-Tuk, friend of explorer Ronald Sutcliffe. All we
currently know of Tuk-Tuk is that he followed Sutcliffe to Antarctica from Argentina, but died in a tragic accident along with Sutcliffe himself. The reverse of the Autumn note is emblematic of knowledge,
the fruit of work; wisdom, the fruit of experience; and love, the fruit of life. At the end of things
comes the harvest, where you shall eat of the Tree of Life.
