The famed artist and inventor, Gaston Montpelier and his wife Madeleine, are featured on the Summer
note. Montpelier created many new inventions and machines that helped the Lost Colony not only survive, but flourish. Unfortunately, some of his most powerful inventions, like his Fire of Heaven, were lost with
him on that mysterious day back in 1899.  On the reverse of this bill are the Seven Celestial Spheres of the ancient philosophers: the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
