The season of Winter is when Hope is needed and is manifest. The hope of love, of peace, and the hope
of rebirth. Therefore, on the obverse of this note is the image of Hope, with his sword draped in the olive branch, and the anchor symbol in the background.  When Hope is gone, all we are left with is Fear,
and the most primal fear is the fear of death.
