Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, World Conquest

The World Conquest project was an anti-war, pro-human-rights protest against Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Iran is the world's biggest state sponsor of terrorism, closely allied with Hamas,
Hezbollah, and the Baathist regime of Syria. Ahmadinejad has threatened countless times to wipe a neighboring country off the map. He is a clear and present danger to world peace, and is estimated to acquire nuclear weapons within one year.

So, to raise awareness of the urgency of the problem, and to keep the pressure on Ahmadinejad, I printed this image on lawn signs and I planted them all over the tri-state area. I planted the signs, photographed them, and walked away. I left the signs in place to last as long as possible until they were confiscated or stolen. The photos are real, they were not manipulated in any way beyond simple color correction.

I had 100 lawn signs printed up, and I distributed over 50 of them across the tri-state area. I posted a new photograph of a sign plant on this site and on facebook every day from September 11, 2010 until the November elections, 2010.
